Write
about your favourite games:
·
What are they?
·
Why do you enjoy playing
them?
·
What do you learn from
them?
·
Do you have any ideas for
your own educational game?
Well... Funny thing to say! I have a bunch of games that I want to include. But I had to choose one of them so I choose Roblox. It is a bit like mincraft but better. Now it is basically about building stuff and playing games. The games I like are simulators but there is a bunch of other stuff too! Like murder, action, comedy, War and others. I enjoy playing this game because some things can be educational. Like I now know what a fedora is! Also a decal! I think that they should bring the old website theme back. Which would be nice! I also wish the administrators would be online aswell. Because the creator is never online. And everyone thinks he should come back.
ReplyDeleteEducational games I have played include 'I-Scream Lady' and 'Granny Crunch' on Mathletics. I also sneak time to play 'Squeebles times tables' on my dad's phone
ReplyDeleteI like playing I-scream lady on Mathletics, because data learning is my favourite subject in Maths at school and at home . I also of course, love eating ice-cream on hot or icy cold days!
I enjoy the concept of granny crunch, where I choose two numbers from a group that on adding, equals a randomly chosen number. It is especially funny when Granny dances shaking her hips when the sum is seen to be correct. She reminds me of the nanny in one of my favourite movies, Mrs Doubtfire.
My last game is Squeebles. Here, I can practise times tables. When I complete a challenge and it is marked correct, I am able to release a squeeble as a reward. The squeeble is locked up in a tower by another squeeble which is deemed evil. The aim of the game is to unlock forty of them. The squeebles are little monsters and live in a peaceful village.
My idea of an educational game has become part of my I.C.T project. I have created a game on Scratch where the player is able to practise any times tables. I have designed prompts to help the player along the way. It is the first project I have ever made and I am very proud of the program.

My favourite is on the I -pad its called kaleidoscope, I like this game because if you write some thing like your name it ends up in a graze full pattern . you can also go it to graffiti mode where you can mess about on and end up making amazing art .
ReplyDeleteI also like Fantasy racing, girls box 3 and slam dunk . all these games are my favourite but the one i love the most kaleidoscope.
My Favourite game
ReplyDeleteWhat are my favourite games? They are Minecraft and Tomodachi life.
I like Minecraft becase it is a building and life-like game.
You generate worlds and build in them.
I like Tomodachi life becase you get: married, pets, babies, eat, drink, clothes, rooms, apartments, houses, fun fairs, jobs and hats.
In Minecraft, you learn how to survive, eat and build.
You survive by making a house and eating food. You eat by killing things and breaking things.
You learn how to care and be responsible for people in Tomodachi life. It teaches you about life such as eating and drinking.
My idea for an educational game
My idea for a video game would be called The book. With The book you would have to read the story and then answer some questions about it. If you get the questions right you play a game based on the story. If you get it wrong you move on to the next story. The game would test your memory and understanding.
My favourite game is the Simpsons tapped out.
ReplyDeleteWhat you do at first is you have the dad and you do a stuff with him at first,
and if you don`t know at first then don`t worry because it will show you(at
first).
I also like it because there are some funny characters like, The Barbarian
who is from clash of clans. He can`t talk properly and he calls village pillage.
My educational games inea would be a tow players game where you have to answer maths questions and every time you get one question right then you move one step but if you get one wrong then you move one step back.
my favorite game on my mums Ipad2 is dragonvale you start with one island and a wizard guides you theough the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteI also like it because the dragons are realy cute and sometimes the wizards say hilarios things.
Also its a mystery because sometimes you have to pay enormus amounts of gems to get dragon eggs so you can breed but... you dont know what your gonna get.
My favorite educatonal game is squeeble time tables, there is a math monster and a red squeeble, the monster has kidnapped the other squeebles and the only way to get them back is to complete the times tables but the red squeeble isnt very good at times tables so you need to do it. And if you get 12/12 you save a squeeble.
