Midsummer nights dream
We have been studying Shakespeare's play Midsummer nights dream in preparation for our class play. For this weeks homework I would like you to choose a section of the play and retell it in your own words. Remember to think, say, write and check your work.

Titania the most beautifulest fairy of all was singing to her page boy who she had looked after for 3 weeks."Oh Titania may I speak to,"said Oberon.

Oberon had become jealous because her wife had taken a page boy from an orphanage and he had wanted one of his one but could not have one.
"Oh my Oberon how beautiful he sleeps,"explained Titania.
"Yes,about the boy,you must give me the at once! He is not our son and you know you stole him and he is just the boy I need,GIVE HIM TO ME AT ONCE!!!,"shouted Oberon.
Titania's knuckles curled up as he was going to punch him.
"HOW DARE YOU SHOUT AT ME LIKE THAT!!!!!!AND I SHALL NOT PART WITH HIM," Titania shouting at him back.
Suddenly a huge blue ball flew at Oberon's head and before you knew it he was gone.....

Helena:tomorrow at night we are going to run where nobody can see us .

Narrator: Hermia does not feel good for Helena she feel's good for herself that she is going to live with her lover.

DeletePuck crept up on Titania and then saw a group of people practicing a play for a couple and a few other people. Puck had decided to play a trick by turning Nick Bottoms head into a donkeys head. Nick Bottoms friends were very scared and said " your head has turned into a donkeys head!" then Bottom said "what's that you said you see a donkeys head of your ohm?". They all ran of and Bottom started singing by then Puck had squeezed the juice of the flower on to Titania's eyelids and she had fallen in love with Nick bottom. Titania had tolled her fairy's" to take care of him and give him food" then after that when the fairy's left Titania and Bottom Obron had sneaked up on Then both and felt sorry for what he had done so he squeezed the juice of the flower onto Titania's eyelids again and then made up then after all that Nick Bottom and his friends performed there play and when everyone left Titania and Obron had blessed the castle.
ReplyDeleteTitania light of faries , Oberon dark of faries. oberon and titania were arging over a page boy so Oberon said" i want him because he needs to be my helper, "Titania said i want him because my mum will look after him."Then Titania puted roaring blue fire across Oberons head.Then Oberon had the page boy so Oberon told puck put a flower on titanias eye lashs so when titania openns her eyes and see the frist thing she will be friendlyso puck so aman and changed his head in to a donkey head.after oberon felt sorry about it so he changed the man back to a man.

"yes master" Puck flew to Oberon as fast as he could, in a blink of an eye Puck appeared, it was like he teleported. Oberon whispered " I want you to do a job for me get some poisen and put it in Titania eyes when she wakes up she will fall in love with the first living creature she sees"
"as you command master " Puck mumbled, on the way Puck bumpt into a group of people they were practicing a play for a wedding . The leader of this play was called Nick bottom. Puck turned Nick bottoms head to a donkey unsuprisingly everyone ran away from him, he will use Nick bottom as part of Oberons plan , " la la la la la la" Bottom was singing because he was lonely. When Puck put the poisen into Titania 's eye she woke up and fell in love with Bottom.....................

ReplyDelete"Puck fetch me a flower called love-in-idleness." He then strode forwards confidently," I will spray it on proud Titania's eye lids while she is sleeping. It will make her fall in love with the first living thing she sees when she awakes, and she will agree to let me keep the page." Puck smiled,
"I'll be as quick as I can," he vanished in a flash.
While the light, wonderful Titania was sleeping the sneaky little Puck put the magic poison onto her eye lids. After doing this, Puck felt a bit naughty, so he played a trick on Nick Bottom the leader of a group that was about to perform a play for the Duke of Athens's wedding. Puck wiggled a number of fingers and in less then a moment Bottom's head was turned into a donkey's head. By the time most of his colleagues ran away from him, queen Titania had woken up and fallen in love with the awful looking Nick Bottom!!!
Close to the river bank there a group of Athenians secretly practicing a play for the Duke Theseus after his wedding. The actor Bottom, a weaver hid behind and he was waiting to appear when he heard his cue. “I’ll show them how it’s done,” he whispered. The duke will see my amazing my acting is he will shower me with gold and more importantly change my name. He peeped and saw a fairy fluttering over his head puck decided to make some mischief “say welcome to the Queens new love. Bottoms face started to grow hair and his nose and ears grew longer and longer. His body didn’t change but his head did. Bottom had literally no idea about what had happened until he heard his cue and stepped out from behind the tree. “Ahhhhhh” screamed the other actors as they so the donkey headed human. They started running, screaming and shouted. “What’s up with them” Bottom said. He felt a beard “I am gonna have to shave me beard before the play” bottom said. “I know what’s up with them they’re trying to frighten me leaving me alone in the dark. To prove how brave he was he began to sing. He sounded like the squealing of rusty hinges. It woke Titania from her sleep and she said, “Do I hear an angel singing” staring at Bottom. Titania proclaimed, “I have fallen madly in love with you.

“Servants bring anything he desires” commanded Titania. From up above you could hear the laughter like the pealing of tiny bells coming from Puck.
When Nick Bottom was telling his friends all about play scripts, bang a donkeys head had been put on his head. All his friends had shouted " you have a donkeys face on" and all ran away. Bottom had started singing to himself, all he shouted was" EYORE, EYORE , EYORE , EYORE" . Then Titarnia said "I LOVE THAT SINGING ". Titarnia said to here little Farris" give him apricots, blueberries and all the fruit that you now, give the best bed and pump his pillows, and most of all you should fan him when he is hot.
